OLD AGE DIET

Diet can play an important role for the prevention of cancer and many other diseases , so selection of diet is very important part especially in old age.



What should Eat

  • Eat one pieace of steamed fish daily .

  • Take home made green lemon souce or chattni with every meal daily.

  • Eat  snacks such as nuts, seeds,popcorn without butter and fresh fruit.

  • Drink juice especially fresh juice of pomegranate, carrots, berries and oranges


  • Eat whole grain breads, pastas, brown rice instead of refined food.

  • Include Fibers in diet , for fibers daily eat fruits and vegetables more than two time it will also helpful in constipation

  • Dont forget water, it shoud be important part of your diet.

  • To avoid anemia add  fruits especially apples and pears in daily diet.
  • Include detoxification diet .

What should not Eat


  • Limit intake of sodium
  • Avoid saturated fat animal fats and cholesterol 
  • limit intake of added sugar, particularly liquid sugar in the form of sweetened cold drinks and undiluted fruit juices
  • limit intake of refined grains
  • Avoid processed foodslike bread, donuts, white flour pastas and biscuits
  • Avoid to take coffee, chocolateand black tea in large number.
  • Avoid over eating in old age it can be a source of memory loss.
